The weekend of 15th & 16th July saw the second Brum Vegan Beer Fest (BVBF). This year it was co-branded as ‘MABfest III’ and was on day one of the very first ‘Birmingham Beer Week’. The event was held at the Gunmakers Arms and there were 16 beers from 12 breweries along with food from The Vegan Grindhouse.
It was a lovely sunny weekend and the beers were on top form. Eight of the sixteen beers on stillage and the rest were on our the bar in our lounge. The food from Vegan Grindhouse was, of course, superb and very well received.
The tasting notes for the beers are shown above and can also be found here. MABfest’s are beer festivals organised by breweries who form the Mercian Alliance of Brewers. If you’d like to know more about the Mercian Alliance of Brewers (MAB) then follow them here. Thanks to Rachid from The Upright One for combing our BVBF logo into the MABfest design you can see below. If you’d like to find out more about Birmingham Beer Week then follow them here .
A huge thanks to all who attended the event and we hope to see you next year when we do it all again. Cheers 🙂
